Mac OS X Connection Setup

Before you begin, make sure you have the local dialup number for your area, and your Quicksilver Username and Password.

Click on the Apple menu
Click System Preferences

Select Internal Modem in the Configure or Show panel.

Click the TCP/IP tab

Domain Name Servers - Enter 202.89.128.16 and 202.89.128.17
Search Domains - Enter quicksilver.net.nz

Click on the PPP tab

Service Provider - Quicksilver
Telephone Number - your local dialup number (see here for a list of local area dialup numbers)
Account Name - your Quicksilver username (usually lower case)
Password - your Quicksilver Password (usually lower case)

Click SAVE.

Congratulations! Your Mac OS X is now ready to connect to the Internet!
